New York Sea Grant
We bring science to the shore through high quality research, outreach, and extension, and with the aim of influencing coastal decision-making by science-based information and educated stakeholders. We produce Map Collections for Hudson and Long Island and have an EJ Mapping Tools webinar series.
We provide education and assistance to villages, towns, cities, and counties interested in strengthening themselves to become receptor destinations for climate migration.
We protect and restore the Hudson River from source to sea and safeguard drinking water supplies, through advocacy rooted in community partnerships, science and law.
Save the Sound
We fight climate change, save endangered lands, protect the Long Island Sound and its rivers, and work with nature to restore ecosystems.
We preserve land and farms and create parks that connect people with the inspirational power of the Hudson River, while fighting threats to the river and natural resources that are the foundation of the valley’s prosperity.
Somers Land Trust
We conserve open land in the Town of Somers that is vital to its natural resources and historical character through the use of conservation easements and the promotion of sound principles of land-use planning.
Our mission is to create and provide learning experiences that connect young people with the natural world through art and science discovery. As a team of artists, naturalists, and educators, we also seek to model and inspire environmental stewardship.
Our mission is to develop sustainable communities across Putnam County, NY — ecologically sound, socially equitable, and economically responsible — today and for future generations.
We are a nonprofit, consortium of Westchester County local governments that facilitates effective collaboration on sustainability initiatives. Our goal is to bring socially responsible, environmentally sound, and economically viable solutions that create healthy, resilient, sustainable communities.
