We provide education and assistance to villages, towns, cities, and counties interested in strengthening themselves to become receptor destinations for climate migration.
Establishing pollinator-friendly habitats and food sources for bees, butterflies and birds
We protect and restore the Hudson River from source to sea and safeguard drinking water supplies, through advocacy rooted in community partnerships, science and law.
Save the Sound
We fight climate change, save endangered lands, protect the Long Island Sound and its rivers, and work with nature to restore ecosystems.
We preserve land and farms and create parks that connect people with the inspirational power of the Hudson River, while fighting threats to the river and natural resources that are the foundation of the valley’s prosperity.
Somers Land Trust
We conserve open land in the Town of Somers that is vital to its natural resources and historical character through the use of conservation easements and the promotion of sound principles of land-use planning.
Our mission is to create and provide learning experiences that connect young people with the natural world through art and science discovery. As a team of artists, naturalists, and educators, we also seek to model and inspire environmental stewardship.
Our mission is to develop sustainable communities across Putnam County, NY — ecologically sound, socially equitable, and economically responsible — today and for future generations.
We are a nonprofit, consortium of Westchester County local governments that facilitates effective collaboration on sustainability initiatives. Our goal is to bring socially responsible, environmentally sound, and economically viable solutions that create healthy, resilient, sustainable communities.

Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions
Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS) is a county-wide effort to move our communities to Zero Waste and make Wheelabrator-Peekskill Trash Incinerator obsolete. WASS works to educate residents, communities, and elected officials about the harms of trash incineration and empower them to seek the viable alternatives for sustainable waste management that will ensure clean air and environmental justice for Peekskill and Westchester County.
